Superphosphate
Superphosphate compensates for soil phosphate deficiency which is quite common. It helps stimulate strong seed growth, promoting root formation and encouraging plants to mature more quickly.
P = Phosphorus: (9) Phosphorus stimulates quick seed growth, root formation and quickens maturity.
S = Sulphur: (11) Soil and plant food that restores optimum growth.
Ca = Calcium: (22) Promotes sturdy growth, maintains pH balance.
How to use Superphosphate
In planting beds spread 1 cup of Superphosphate (approx. 200g per square metre. Incorporate into the top 10cm of soil and water well.
When planting rows side dress approximately 1 cup of Superphosphate along both sides of each row, and water well.
Established trees and shrubs can be fertilised in spring and autumn by scattering ½ cup (approx. 100g) around the base of the plant. Work lightly into the soil and water well.
